NP Thyroid vs Armour Thyroid: Which is Best?

Armour thyroid and NP thyroid are both forms of natural desiccated thyroid which means they have very similar active ingredients. Those active ingredients include thyroxine, triiodothyronine, calcitonin, T2, and some T1.

Where they differ is in their inactive ingredients. Armour has more total inactive ingredients compared to NP thyroid which means that NP may be a slightly cleaner option. That doesn't guarantee that NP will work better for you, though, which is why some trial and error is always necessary when it comes to thyroid medications.
