the last time I got my nails done was in 2021, I had started doing them at home during COVID and decided to treat myself once things were opening up again. I spent $80 not including tip on some baby boomers at the salon and I didn't even like them lol so I went back to doing my own acrylics ever since. my skill has improved so much that friends and family have asked me to do theirs. Mrs. Evie i have been doing my nails at home for years now. I have a gel allergy but I now use the gel polish to make my own press ons, and glue them vs adhering them with gel. This gives me the ability to do all my designs on nail stands, which allows me to be more artistic.

I did a set like this on my daughter and they lasted longer on her than acrylics. She's always picking at her nails too and they held up for 6 weeks at least. They were cute.
