Android 5.0 Lollipop is finally rolling out to the Verizon Galaxy S5!

Is the battery life improved ? Not that it's bad on kitkat but stand by time could be better imo

FYI hopefully they didn't get rid if it. But better than silent mode is "blocking mode" it will block all in coming notifications. You can set to allow alarms, and even specific contacts. Works great.

Unlike Kit Kat, Lollipop biggest update was ALL ABOUT DESIGN, and on the Nexus 6, and Moto X's, it runs and feels different from Kit Kat thanks to that Material Design. Now Samsung updates their devices to lollipop and because they so heavily skinned Android, there's little difference from its last update, and sadly all the work Google puts into updating Android's new design I feel is swept under the rug when it comes to Samsung, and only the few Moto and Nexus owners compared to the millions of Samsung user will really experience the beauty of Android 5.0 Lollipop.

I can't get over how nothing was really improved. So much hype for what? Why not increase performance, etc.? I think it might be time to look into something else.

One thing I noticed about the camera is it doesn't focus as good as it used to. And it doesn't turn green anymore when it's focused

Is the latest version now up to 5.0.2? Any news on 5.1? And is there now a flashlight toggle in the shortcuts?and any significant speed or performance improvements on camera, multitasking & app opening?

Hello, Tim. I am a recent subscriber of yours. I was hoping you would be able to answer a question for me. Do Samsung Galaxy S5 users have access to the following features with the new Android Lollipop:
1) Screen Pinning
2) Facial screen lock recognition
3) Multi-user support/guest mode
4) Battery saver mode prompt
5) Adaptive brightness

If you could anser these questions for me and how I might access their setting or enable them on my S5, that would be awesome! Thanks and looking forward to your reply.

Hey Tim, regarding the camera app on Lollipop. The focus ring colour doesn't change to green when focused or red when out of focus...
It's quite annoying.
