I'm trying to flash a note 4 port of lollipop. The steps say to flash rom and csc pack and to get a modem and bootloader would i flash both of those after i flash the rom or before?

I have a stock T-Mobile note 3 with android 5.0 lollipop and I need some help my phone is overheating almost all the time I use a app to tell me what I phone is at when it is overheating and it get all the way up to 115f I know this is the a problem with android 5.0 lollipop I would put a custom rom. The only thing I need from the custom rom is to be able to use my gear s. So if you know of a android 5.1 rom that will work with my gear s or just a way to stop my phone from overheating and giving me bad battery life that would be a big help thanks

I have installed cm12 (unofficial) on my s3 can iwhen a new version comes out install that without needing to factory reset etc. Or do i have to do that?
