I'm glad you said the bottom of the oven is a food warming drawer because when I tell people that they think I'm crazy and never heard of that before. You did a great job on the oven!

Get it girl! This is exactly what my oven looked like before cleaning it with baking soda. I can't believe how good of a job it did! Amazing transformation, Kelly! 💕

Amazing job! I’m so glad you are back. You literally motivate me to clean.

I didn’t know about the drawer either until a few years ago. I currently still use it to store bakeware. Lol 😂

In my first language that bottom part of the oven is called a "lou-oond" which translate to more or less lukewarm oven so its use is in the name as with most other Afrikaans words. I'd never considered someone wouldn't know what that part is for though we also put pots and pans in there.
I tried to use this baking soda and vinegar trick in my freezer once and the vinegar froze to the bottom (because I have pregnancy brain I didn't think forward very far) but I managed to chip it off and that cleaned it quite nicely afterall.

Your videos are always so motivating. I like your idea of putting the racks in the tub. Genius!
I use a razor blade to scrape the little bits that don’t come off the oven glass.
I also hate using the self clean option and oven cleaners so this video is a great way to keep things natural.

I use comet and a scrubby sponge on my glass top and inside glass on oven door . Works like a charm. For more stubborn stuff on the cook top i use a razor blade and then scrub

I know this is an older video but I wanted to give you a hint that I learned from another youtuber. Take the oven racks and put them in the bathtub and pour about a cup of automatic dishwashing powder in the water and let them soak overnight. It's amazing how the racks almost clean themselves with this method.

To get those few spots up, I use the copper “sponge” and it comes right off. U can get them in a 3 pack at dollar tree. U just have to apply a bit of pressure and rub in small circular motions. You would think it would scratch up the glass but it doesn’t!

FYI: Ketchup has SOOOO much vinegar in it (it’s usually the second ingredient listed on the bottle), which means it is the second most abundant ingredient in it.

So ketchup does NOT need to be refrigerated at all!

(Remember, over 120+ years ago, general stores had pickle barrels, and they would store all of their pickles inside of those pickle barrels, floating in vinegar!!

The vinegar WAS the preservative for MANY foods, long before electricity and refrigeration was invented!)

Restaurants never EVER refrigerate their ketchup. They just pour one bottle into another (after closing) as they get used up, so that the bottles always look fresh and full each day, for each day’s use by their customers. 👍❤️😉

I’m sure that with young children in your household you would PROBABLY use up your ketchup long before it would go bad, (remember, vinegar is a preservative!), even if you left the previously opened bottle out on your counter or in your pantry shelves, even after opening it!

The manufacturer of the refrigerator has designed the air flow of the drawers at the bottom to usually hold vegetables and meats and fruits; that is why they are usually labeled as such.

So putting drinks (especially self-contained un-opened ones) in the bottom two drawers just doesn’t make sense. That’s what the shelves above the drawers are DESIGNED for above.
