When I go to parties, I always help clean up out of courtesy and respect…..parties are a lot of work and the clean up is worse.

Hey Faith, great video! I wipe down my washing machine monthly. One thing I suggest that my grandma taught me. When your done with washing your loads for the day Leave your washer machine open to air dry. The vinegar rinse works so well! Try to look into a dryer lint brush. If your not sure what I'm talking about it looks like a wand that bends. It helps clear out lint. It's so important to clean that out.

I totally agree with you Faith, when I host a dinner, I do not expect or want people to clean. My expectation for my guest is to come, relax and enjoy themselves. When I go to my family and friends home, they do not expect me to clean. In fact, I have seen people get highly offended because people have asked.

So glad to see you Faith you inspire me so much I’ve missed you, your boys are growing so, and usually when I have a function going on I don’t ask my guess for help, I think it’s rude, I’v had on occasion excepted help, most times I like doing my own cleaning, I will ask to help when I have an invite, but I have no problem cleaning, I want my guess to enjoy their time in my home. Faith, I am South African and maize meal is eaten all over Southern Africa. Its called "PAP" in South Africa, and diffetent people cook it differently. Within South Africa some people like Batswana and Bapedi they make it softer. I am a Mosotho, and we make it slighly harder like the Zulus. As far as I know we all put salt in the water before you start adding the maize. And in most South African households its eaten with meat. We also eat it with milk

In Zimbabwe they called it " SADZA" and they dont add salt.

In Botswana they have another another way of cooking it and its called "TING" and its kinda soft and sour (fermented)

Oven: I was wondering if your oven has a self cleaning function. What I usually do is do the self clean first, and then spray the oven cleaners if I am not happy with the self clean results.

From my culture I love bannock and fried moosemeat with onions lol, I grew up eating it in northern Alberta, Canada. I moved to an area where hunting isn't as common as where I grew up. So I crave it, but usually a family member from back home will gift me some moosemeat. And I can make bannock any time baked or fried 😊

I was one of the ones who thought “damn they’re not going to stay and help clean😂😂😂 BUT I didn’t comment lol. My family is from the South and it’s not that there’s an expectation for someone to stay behind and help or an obligation that you have to help. I think it’s just courteous and the friendly thing to do that’s all. Cleaning after a big party or get together can be hell so it’s nice when everyone pitches in or you yourself help someone out once all the fun is over. I do understand your point and it makes total sense. But my family from Mississippi/Louisiana would never leave and not help out lol. It’s that southern hospitality 😂😂

I love watching desaster cleaning videos.

I recommend to cover your oven in plastic wrap after applying the easy off so it cannot dry. It has to stay moist in order to work properly.
