WEB EXTRA: US Bound Flight From London Stage Dual Takeoff Marking End Of COVID Travel Restrictions

British Airways and Virgin Atlantic planes took off at the same time from London’s Heathrow Airport bound for New York to mark the lifting of COVID-19 bans on non-essential travel for people coming to the U.S. from more than 30 countries, including most of Europe. As of Monday (11/8), those international travelers need to be fully vaccinated and have a negative COVID test.
