The in-flight WiFi industry is expected to be worth $30 billion by 2035. Despite the industry growing, the technology is still lacking. It's slow and usually expensive. And paying more for your WiFi doesn't mean you'll get faster service. The quality of your WiFi actually depends on your airline, aircraft, in-flight WiFi provider, and region you're traveling to and from.

- sleep (if an overnight flight)

On ground I love WiFi but when I'm on a plane I just enjoy nice to look out the window if you have a window seat. If not then I normally just mess with the in flight entertainment system. :3

I’ve been telling people the United States needs to have better train systems similar to the ones in Europe where You can just take the train from say New York to LA in a bullet train
This country public transportation system is trash and only good for cars and planes

She didn't mention that the box's on the top of the fuselage that gets wifi from satellites creates more drag on the plane. Because there is more drag on the plane they need to use more fuel and fuel costs money so by just putting that box on the aircraft they are making every flight cost them more and thats part of the reason the wifi is expensive

For the price of airplane wifi you could buy a month's access to a video and an audio streaming service and download what you need, and save some money... Not to mention you can download free library and audio books (Hoopla), podcasts, and games before you leave. Doesn't make any sense to pay for wifi unless you are negotiating a super important time-sensitive contract or something.
