Dear Mr. Wessels, in one of those weird situations that happen in South Africa, I am a Romanian who lives here and after finally figuring out Afrikaners thanks to the first Afrikaner friend I had during service in the South African army back in 2001 (google "Think twice before signing up for the SANDF". It's a letter published in the Weekend Post newspaper in which you and other may find out how that guy died in my arms and I later had to tell his parents what happened because the army lied to them), have developed an appreciation for Afrikaans music. I've been a fan of yours since the Leeuloop and Poena is Koening days, the latter of which I often recommend to people to watch. Mphe die Hoenor is also one of my favourites (going to listen to it again after this), but I must say that funny though you make things sound, the heart and depth of your songs are quite bewitching. Keep it up, sir!
