Murray E2: Bridging the Achievement Gap Through Environmental Learning

This video documents a model environmental learning class at Murray Middle School, St. Paul MN, that is inspiring young scientists while significantly impacting the achievement gap. Murray E2 (Environmental Inquiry and Immersion), created by 20-year veteran science teacher Tim Chase, involves a rigorous lab curriculum, outdoor experiential learning, work with University and natural resource experts, and an intensive research project at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center.
