i agree, i really do see no point, so yeah it has usb and the pioneer jog but it just seems pointless it still less features the ncdj1000

No one is forced to buy the 2000 first, whatever they currently have could easily last another 6 weeks. Its called marketing. I forgot the specific term but its genrally best, if you have many products coming out at once, to release your Top of the line product first.

Yeh but no one is forced to by the 2000, there is still purpose for the 900, the 2000 is only out first because its the premium one. Doesnt mean ppl wont buy the 900, plus there will be a fiarly big market for it.

Awesome kit. Unjustifiable price. There are plenty of other decent companies though.

At least the 400 positively differed from the 1000 in certain way. I can't think of any reason why the 900 came about. It's so obvious that they stripped almost all the key features from the 2000 and gave it the same looks to "make it accessible to those with a smaller budget". It's a sad excuse. It's also so darn obvious they're releasing it 6 weeks later, so some will be "forced" to buy the 2000...

cdj900 is not as good as it looks, it still has less features then the cdj 1000 but it has usb.
