It's not quick and it's not easy without a keyboard.  This video was pre rendered, most dj have massive libraries  and 3 letters is not going to get you what you want.   If Pioneer introduced a full keyboard  to go with the nexus (even if it was exclusively made by Pioneer)  1. It would change the djing world. 2  It would boost your sales on the Nexus

@wise005 you must import your tracks to the Rekordbox software, which creates a library.

You then have to export them all again.

@PioneerProDJMedia, I don't get it. Rekordbox doesn't appear to have a 'create database' function.

With an external hard drive containing many thousands of tracks, what does Rekordbox do that enables the CDJ-2000 to search and find tracks when that external drive is connected directly to the CDJ?
