Gobble | Chilli Garlic Cheese Corn Toast

Try this at your next house party!
Ingredients:
1 loaf garlic bread/baguette (sliced into 1” thick slices)
1 green chilli (finely-chopped)
8 garlic cloves (finely-chopped)
¼ cup capsicum (finely-chopped)
¼ cup onion (finely-chopped)
2 cups processed cheese (grated)
1 cup corn (boiled)
¼ cup butter
¼ cup flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
4 tbsp butter (melted)
2 tbsp olive oil
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C
2. Brush the bread slices with melted butter on both sides
3. Bake the bread for 4 minutes and then remove
4. Heat olive oil in a pan and saute onions, garlic, green chilli, capsicum and corn, set aside
5. In a saucepan mix the melted butter and flour and whisk until a roux is formed
6. Add milk and bring it to boil, whisking constantly until thick
7. Add the cheese and whisk until fully melted
8. Season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika and garlic powder, mix well
9. Add the sauteed vegetables into the sauce and mix until thoroughly coated
10. Spread the sauce and vegetable mixture over each slice of bread and bake for 6 minutes
11. Garnish with Italian seasoning and serve hot
