If you're a family planning to stay at a universal hotel, only one person in the family needs to have an annual pass in order to get the annual pass discount on the hotel room. The same annual pass can be used for all in-park purchases on food and merch to save even more money. Do the math and you'll be surprised at how quickly you'll make up the purchase cost of the annual pass. It doesn't work for Epic Universe tickets though - only one ticket per annual pass per day is allowed.

My tip: An interactive wand purchased at Universal Studios Orlando will work at Universal Studios Hollywood and vice versa! The maps will be different, but the wands will still work! (Also, I'm so happy that Universal Studios Hollywood is open again after a scary couple of days.)

Minor note: Helios grand will also be missing another perk on opening day May 22. Early Entry! Because the hotel is opening on the same day and check in isn’t until the afternoon, guests won’t have early park entry that day! However Stella nova and Terra Luna will still have early park entry!

International travellers: always use a VPN to buy tickets as if you were in the USA. Universal charges a higher price when you buy internationally.
Right now, a "2 day + 2 free days" ticket costs $270 in the USA site and $320 in the Brazilian site, for example

It’s still WILD to me seeing the “Let’s win Disney” change to “Let’s win Universal.” Just emphases how much ground Universal is gaining in media with Epic Universe turning all the heads. I have APs to both Disney and Universal so I’m excited to experience all the new thrills in May!

I still haven’t forgiven Universal for their parking lol. Years ago, we were in Orlando, and we were trying to get to the Hard Rock hotel. We made a wrong turn and wound up in the line for Universal parking and we couldn’t turn around. They wouldn’t let us turn around at the gate. We were forced to pay the $30 or whatever it was at the time just to go to the HRH. We had no intention of visiting the park that day. I still want my money back 😂

I am wondering if there are path shortcuts to Hagrids at EPA (like by Green Eggs & Ham) and if it’s possible (&a good idea) to - while in the EPA line for Hagrids to mobile order breakfast to get the included Butterbeer and have it soon after you finish up Hagrids? With that, on mobile order can you set the order for a specific time?

We gearing up to go in August 2025 but are nervous about the crowd levels. We used to go in Sept before our daughter was born but now she’s older we think a Universal trip is in order. As much as we’d like to do Epic, we think this could be too busy especially if they don’t offer express pass??? Should we stick to the IOA and US?

About the robes, you can see right away the cheap amazon robes. They dosent look good at all, especially next to people in original ones. I would recommend just buying used one original robe on resellers platforms
