Oasis ruled the world in the mid 90's. To show how popular they were, imagine a radio interview where Liam and Noel are non-stop insulting and cussing out each other was recorded, released and hit the Top 10 sales charts. Anything they did was front page news. Amazing songs, incredible performances. They brought guitar rock back. One of the rare bands that actually changed people's lives. So many more great songs to react to. Keep going

This was the song and the album where the press got fed up with Oasis. It wasn’t that they’d got worse or run out of steam, it’s because fashions were changing. It’s an amazing song and I’m pleased you like it.

This is Liam singing lead, he's the main lead on Oasis songs, but there are a few that Noel sings lead on, the last one you did "Don't Look Back in Anger" was a Noel lead. The two of them have quite different singing styles and vocal mannerisms.

Moving through the decades of music from the 60 s and beyond I have always kept my ear to the new, fresh, and even classic sounds of each age. Oasis was one of those great groups in the next step of my connected journey in the changing wave of sound. I did love their classic look and homage to ancestral English rock as well. So sad when they suddenly ended their journey. It took everybody by surprise. Sometimes you just don't have anything more to say as a group and it's time to move on. They are part of decade history.
