Extremely Rusty Antique DAMASCUS Knife Restoration

Restoration Video Overview I found this old rusty knife in my grandfather's garden It was not easy to restore it because there was so much mud and rust on it. I started its restoration, the first thing I did was remove the rust And I was surprised it was a damascus knife Which was very antique i.e. it was buried underground for many years. I did a complete restoration on it and after the restoration it became usable again. And started looking more beautiful than before

Why does every rusty knife have a wire wrapped handle? Who wraps a wire around a handle?

That's an old skinning knife, the hook on the back of the blade is for gutting the animal, the hook won't penetrate through into the internal organs.
