Inside a Huge HINDU TEMPLE COMPLEX in Pakistan 🚩 (Katas Raj)

I visit the most famous Hindu temple complex in Pakistan - Katas Raj (कटास राज کٹاس راج مندر). Here you find many Hindu temples dedicated to the Hindu Gods Ram, Hanuman, and Shiva. The complex dates back to the 4th century when it was a Buddhist region, and the remains of a Buddhist stupa can be found there too.

Here are the 4 other temples I visited in Pakistan:

In the 7th century, Hinduism gained traction in the region under the reign of the Hindu Shahis. They established Hindu temples here in the Punjab salt range from the mid 7th to 10th centuries.

There’s a Brahmanical story that says that Shiva was so inconsolable after the death of his wife Sati, that tears literally rained from his eyes and formed the two sacred pools of Pushkara near Ajmer, and Katas here in the Salt Ranges of Punjab.

The pond is irregular in shape, measuring 45m in length and a very deep depth of 27m at the upper end. The pond is a natural spring.

A little distance from the pond is the remains of a Gurudwara which Guru Nanak is believed to have stayed in during his journey around the world, visiting shrines associated with different religions.

Next to the pond we also find a Hawan Kund (Yagya) which are fire altars used for prayers. The central domestic rituals take place here - daily rites, marriage rites, and finally funeral rites.

There’s also a working Shiv Temple nearby with a Shiv Ling inside, but it was closed when Karl visited.

Up above the pond, you have the Ramachandra Temple and a Hanuman Temple.

Behind there is the Hari Singh Fort and Haveli. He was the most famous general in Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s army.

At the very top of the hill is the Satghara, a group of seven ancient temples.

U should have asked for the guide at the main gate, they have keys to all the mandirs. U missed out on a lot while saving 5 bucks, the satgarhya mandir is hauntingly beautiful from the inside because of its intricate construction, from its top u can get the best view of the whole complex.

This temple series would be incomplete without visiting Sindh. You will find a lot of ancient Hindu temples here because Sindh is the origin of Indus valley civilization. Love to all sindhus out there. ♥️❤️

I am from India....i happy see temple in pakistan, which is not destroyed by extremist groups . I am literally got because this was our land, where my ancestors live freely, i can't explain my pain . I wish one day again Hindu's will go there and worship there god's one day again pakistan will be the part of india.
