**Note** Please don't cut your tube in order to access the Presta Valve Core. There are a lot of videos on youtube showing how to remove the core, but I haven't found any that show you what's going on inside the tube. I've cut this old tube up so that we can get a good cross sectional view of what's going on during the procedure. **Thanks!**

Some presta valve tubes claim that the valve is non-serviceable, while this may be true to some extent, we are able to remove the core in order to install tire slime.

It seems that after slime goo coats the inside of the valve and the core, the core won't fall back out of the valve when you align it to come back out. Any ideas to retrieve the core? It's also way to short to push back out of the valve.

who thought prestas were a good idea? literal garbage, next time ill double check if a tube I purchase is presta or not, can't even put my damn sealant inside them now.
