These are very nice for a clean rugged look and feel. Even though the 541 athletic was great if you wanted more room and stretch but but if clean and rugged is what you want this is the best fit overall! Hint is get your right waist size and with your length it’s probably best get a 34 length if you’re always getting a 32 length! Because it gives you a better look with a longer inseam! I recommend longer for a more rugged look but if you want clean and only clean try a shorter inseam! Absolutely ideal for boots!!!

The 502's taper are the best fit for me. Perfect for cowboy boot. J.C. Penny finally had my size in stock and I ... uhm... stocked up

These are the best jeans out, 501 fit without the large cuff at the bottom, they fit well with most shoes. Boots not so much because the taper is narrow at the bottom. They run about $45 on the US.

I was trying out all the styles, 511s are still way too tight on me. I've always bought the 501's but now that I've bought the iron rangers, Corcoran plaint toe boots, and the black thorogood beloit boot I want to show off the boot. The 502's are perfect!! Just enough of an opening on the leg to show off these badass boots and still have the comfort of the 501's. Hopefully they don't discontinue the 502's.

Levis has awful Quality Control. The most inconsistent sizing.

I bought 2 pairs of these and they fitted well at first. After washing them a few times and sending them to the dry cleaner they stretched and feel loose now
