In this video, we will show you how to fix the blue screen of death stop error "0x00000124".
The error "0x00000124" is normally caused by defective hardware, memory or even processor due to heat related issues. Occasionally, this error can be caused due to driver related issues.

Step 1 -- How to resolve the error 0x00000124

In order to resolve this error, you will have to remove the power and reset all the cards, memory and cables (on both ends).
It is recommended that you place your system in a cool environment. If you are using a laptop, use the cooling pad. This error screen will splash when your Windows is booting and will make your system restart automatically.

Step 2 -- Disable Driver Signature Enforcement Option

In order to resolve this problem, hold the F8 key when your computer is restarting in order to view the Advanced Boot Options. From there, select the Disable Driver Signature Enforcement option and press the enter key.
When you select this option, the operating system boots as it normally does. It overrides the Microsoft's permission mask to use only signed drivers. The only difference is that the drivers aren't checked when they are loaded for signatures.
Once you are done, the system will start normally and you will notice that the blue screen of death stop error 0x00000124 will not be appearing anymore. Your windows will run smoothly from now onwards.

This error(0x124) can also be caused by low VCore, however you will rarely encounter that unless you are trying to overclock, or your power supply is failing.

Ive got this bsod code on a Compaq Presario CQ60-419WM im working on. Upgraded the processor and started getting this error. Had a little sempron si-42 in it before. I bought a ZM-87 and poped it in. All seemed good but after 3 minutes got this. Ok figured processor I got was bad. Bought another just a step down ZM-86. Now still have the same bsod it just takes longer for to pop up... about 15 minutes now.... swapped the ram and no dice. About to try a different hdd to see if maybe that me help. Windows was freshly installed with the new processor. Tried this and so far its seemed to help. 20 minutes going strong but we will see.

I did a rebuild to my gaming pc and I get this issue only after trying to install windows 10 ( i already have windows 7 and I am trying to do the free upgrade to windows 10) The pc reverts the changes and trys to load windows 7 again and when it is finished reverting the computer quickly shuts itself off and displays this error i have no idea why this is happening and the pc runs windows 7 absolutely fine
