Let them.... Dealers are loaded with 2024s and they have plenty of 2023s. And guess what... They are paying interest on every vehicle. Imagine, having 10 trucks and they are selling them for a $100k each and the floorplan interest rate is say 5% and you vehicles aren't selling. Raise prices when you can't sell what you have.... Genius.

id rather they set at the dealer so he pays the interest for it.than in my driveway where i pay the ridiculous cost + interest.let the dealers pay millions in floorplan cost.better than me paying thousands.

I needed to buy a crossover in December. I injured my knee pretty badly had had been struggling getting out of my sedan for several months. A crossover would help with it being up higher. I did know that dealers tend to give better deals at the end of the year. I bought a 2023 certified Hyundai Tucson with only 5K miles on it. They came down several thousand from an already discounted price, plus gave me several thousand more for my trade than anyone else up to that point. I got a better deal than I ever thought I would going into car shopping. I'd highly recommend looking at a used certified with low miles vs. buying a new car. I never had before and it turned out to be a really smart choice.

Car price are crazy high!. I wonder how the bridge accident in Baltimore affected this. Don't underestimate the importance of the port of Baltimore to the auto industry.

Don't buy unless you really need one and watch them piling up and then they will have no choice to discount them heavily

I agree with u 100% car prices are still out of control. But I would still tell people to go ahead n buy a vehicle if you can get a good deal! We purchased a brand new CRV Hybrid bk in January we went to the dealership at the end of the month, that is the best time to buy! I manage to get them 1500 off MSRP with no unnecessary stupid add-ons. The only thing they tired charging is for was nitrogen filled tires and got them to give me majority of my money back for that. You have to play hard ball with those dealerships because I'm not for the foolishness! But automakers are very slick they increase the price on the CRV without people knowing, our was at MSRP $38, 455 now for the same trim is at $38, 840 what a joke we brought at the right time!

I would wait if at all possible to buy a car. See what happens in November that would determine if you should buy gas or electric as I believe gas prices are going to spike, which will make it even harder to make a car payment.
