She has come a long way from Delta, Delta, Delta.
Siobhan Fallon Hogan is remarkable. Her trajectory as an artist is unlike any other. You could not have imagined any Saturday Night Live player to reach such heights. Not because of her token gems in “Forrest Gump” and “Men in Black”. But because of her role in “Dancer in the Dark”. This film breaks your heart in the most agonizing way and Siobhan’s character and her compelling love and care for Selma played by Bjork stays with you permanently. It is her role as Brenda in this outstanding film that reminds you that the words “type cast” should never exist for any actor in their journey as an artist on the stage or on film. You get a tiny glimpse of this same energy in the television series “Wayward Pines”. Like a person you instantly worry for and this searing despair they have that you experience along with them. This is the kind of actor that makes you take notice of their craft. You always hope to see them in the crowd and when you do you just have to sit down and watch them work.

Finally a movie about a topic which has never been taken seriously me when I became aware of these 'traditions' in America., it was felt sick after having seen a film about what bullying means over did not believe it started to look for more probably because we are from western Europe, we do not have these extreme things also with teachers we have a different relationship....they are highly respected.... never in my life occured to me to criticise any of them....hurting others who I study with? ....what is going on over there? why are they doing this? Also these sexual abuse issues....why?....we all went partying at uni but always looked after each other and the boys were always there to protect us not to rape those who get drunk, but to take them home yeah, probably we are too old fashioned....raised in a different way.
