The exact book I just pre-ordered was $35 at Williams-Sonoma and $25 at Amazon for an identical pre-order, hard copy! How can WS charge $10 more for the same thing?

You might add a small amount of baking soda to the pancake mix to help them brown. I really enjoy your cookbook reviews, not that I hoard cookbooks or anything😂! Don’t ask my husband’s opinion on the subject.😳

My favorite type of cooking would be “baking” and Southern cooking. I’m with you…don’t like seafood of any kind and don’t like most veggies either. Love baking…bread, desserts, cookies, cakes and candies. I do not like Asian, Indian or Italian. I do like some Mexican things and have lots of Mexican/Tex-Mex cookbooks. Most of my cookbooks are baking, Southern cooking, Tex-Mex, BBQ and desserts. Have cooking magazines too…lots of early years of Taste of Home, Cook’s Country, Cook’s illustrated and Taste of the South. My favorite cookbook is Cheryl Day’s Treasury of Southern Baking, an awesome cookbook. 😊

Hi Amy! Love your channel. There’s a Betty Crocker cookbook I thought you might like called Betty goes vegan. Other good ones are Isa does it, Plantiful, any cookbook by Chloe Coscarelli. I thought you might like these as you’re dairy free and they have lots of recipes that are veganized versions of regular recipes :)
