I review, breakdown and explain Top Boy Season 3 Netflix. I discuss the season 5 story in the Netflix show and how it focussed on Dushane and Sully's division. I react to the ending of Sully in the car, and other characters such as Stefan, Jaq, Si, Lauren, Becks and Barry Keoghan as Jonny. I also give my theories and predictions on who killed Sully.

The funniest thing about this season is that Latif’s henchmen turned up with rifles like they were battle-hardened mercenaries yet they got taken out in 10 seconds

People need to realise the point of the series is to show that in the end there are no winners

The way Sully turned into a straight monster in this season but didn’t shoot Steff at the end was perfect..it showed he finally feels remorse right before he got killed..Sully was holding a gun the whole time, he gets in car and puts his gun in the bag.. it was a perfect ending

I hope Kano (Sully) gets more roles as a lead. He has depth and range.

“If we’re not monsters, we’re food and I could never be food” one of the best lines in the show or any show given the circumstances and Sully’s character development

Moral of the story the street life will leave you either dead or in jail

If Stef didn't kill Sully, that boy was the hero of the series and the entire show. Every reason to go down the wrong path but standing at the crossroads with his life ahead of him, made the right choice and didn't follow the way of his brother. Saved himself so much grief and torment and broke the destructive cycle of revenge.
Kano's acting was magnificent and sheer class. Sully was such an intriguing and complicted character but a monster he became and paid the inevitable price.

A few things that could have been written better:
- Why did Mandy get so much screen time and get so important? I think the riot thing was a little bit over the top, and what happened eventually to the little girl who got hit by the police car?
- Why did Dushane clean so badly after he killed Jeffrey? I mean I get it he was in some sort of angry panic attack, but still he had all the time to clean or could have set the house on fire?
- Lastly, the guys from Latiff that were supposed to get Dushane out, you expect that they were some sort of old commandos, but they got killed within 10 seconds by just two roadmen. I mean cmon...

One thing that I love is the hypocrisy the roads has. For example, with Jaq she was always shotting food until it started to affect her family thats when she wanted to stop but what she doesn't realise is how much family lives shes already affected. Its something which I loved to see how shes now realising that its bad because its affecting her sister and the baby.

I also love the hard truths they dished out in this series. When Mandy told Jaq that Lauren died because of the food she shot, and how Sully told her that there is no one to blame for her death but her really shows how sad that type of lifestyle is, and that you only start to change when it hits home.

Kano is hands down the best character in the show

Just got done watching Sully's death of the last episode 10 minutes ago. Too little of the irish, perfect Jaq character development, too little of Stef and the perfect amount of Kieron and Dushane's stories. 🙌🙌

I think Top Boy ended exactly how it was supposed to end. Everyone is disappointed in how short the Irish Mob lasted but every season they take out a new supplier. The only thing that could have been done better was Dushane’s death, they should have made his death feel like Driss’. The ending was perfect and reminded me of the Soprano ending.

This show exemplified perfectly the saying ‘Live by the sword, die by the sword’. The characters either break the cycle of violence and revenge (Aaron, Stefan, Erin’s mother, etc.) or pay the consequences. What a masterpiece.

As a Londoner now in my 60s, I am so proud of of this production team for putting on screen the best and most realistic portrayal of city street gangs in London, as an insight, to ever hit the screen. I know characters of the sort portrayed in the Series and its so on point it gives me the chills. So well done to the the whole Team. This was the best and most realistic representation of some of Londons City Street Gangs & this genre of film to be exported from the UK, and they deserve all of the kudos and acclaim that comes to them for it. Quality and brilliance are just two words that come to mind whilst viewing all three Top Boy Series, which clearly demonstrates their awesome potential for taking on a Big Screen Production.

There were some really good things that people are not seeing.

Stef’s character arc was really well done. He was set out for revenge but matured through conversations with his girlfriend, realising that being a gangsta will kill him eventually. So killing sully isn’t worth it. He doesn’t want to be the top boy, that’s what killed his brother. That was pretty obvious so i don’t know why people want him to be Jamie 2.0. Jamie said in the last season, stef is smart. They showed that here. He’s smart enough to know not to follow the same path as his brother.

Sully’s death was well done. It made sense. The amount of people hes killed in just this season alone, he’s not getting a happy ending. He’s amassed way too many enemies. The Irish, Jaq, stef, Jamie’s friends. If stef wasn’t going to get him, someone else would. It’s a message that being the top boy and living this lifestyle doesn’t end well. There are no happy endings. When you’re in that life, it ends abruptly with no warning.

I feel like people want a Hollywood ending. When it’s not that. It’s real. There aren’t no opportunities for final goodbyes in this lifestyle. There aren’t no final stand offs and there isn’t opportunity for closure.

From the first moment seeing Dushane & Sully having a laugh at the good van in 2011 to the last scene of Sully tearing up as he realises he shot & killed his brother - brilliant, a piece of British culture on film Kane Robinson should do more screen work, great actor, so is Ashley Walters

It was Jaq. The intention of the person who killed Sully was just to execute him and leave. That matches Jaq's goal, to cut out of the game. If it was Si or the Irish, they would have went for the bag in the car after killing Sully. The killer just kept on walking away from the scene of the crime.

Dushanes ending was real sad, hit pretty hard since it was Sully.
