To fix your knee pain - look OUTSIDE your knee joint. The only time quad strengthening is a part of the root cause fix is patellar Tendonitis - so the caveat to this post is if your a young jumping athlete with tendon pain. Otherwise most knee pains are not directly related to weak quads.

this channel taught me that all my problems are in my core muscles and my hips, it's amazing how a simple exercise can change everything just by activating the correct muscles

Yes! I used to experience pain in one knee after all my workouts. I started doing a workout that included the side plank and also a 30-minute barre workout once a week. As my side plank got stronger and my ankles got stronger I no longer have any knee pain. My knees feel soooo strong!

You've got so many great videos on this same problem. And I love them all cuz it helps me deal with this exact problem every time I go for a run! Saved my life!

I completely vouch for this. You had a video of a guy doing some hip flexor strengthening which allowed him to run without knee pain. I had the same problem and do that exercise every leg day and I can now squat without knee pain.

I think its actually cozy when someone thinkers with your body like that, like not in a sexual way.
Its just feels like a caring mechanic trying to look for and fix the bodily problem.

One thing i wish this channel told us was how long it took each person to fix their issue. Sometimes these videos make it seem like jsut 1 session made it better but id like a rough estimate on how it changed said patient in the video

I watched these videos and i started working more on my hip mobility and strengthening. That, coupled with turmeric supplements to help control my inflammation, and ive seen a dramatic improvement in my knee pain!

I've found that doing a proper set of leg exercises and not just the general vertical ones actually fixes most of these. I.e. abductors and adductors do a great job stretching your hips out so these types of pains don't ever become a thing also tibialis training to stop shin splints on running

I’ve done all of your tests but my mobility is fine and my knee still hurts 😢

Yes! When Nick worked with Dom in the off season he got some of his best results! It’s a shame that Nick (allegedly) ghosted coach Dom when he went back to Matt . Great to hear that all these athletes are looking for a more focused coach now 👏

Why the side plank with hip abduction? Sounds like unnecessarily involving the core and shoulders, in addition to it being a very difficult exercise in general, especially if you have a lot of weakness. You could target the abductors better with something like resisted lateral stepping. It would also get some glute max involved which would be more beneficial.
