As someone who has fought with people for this reason I advice u not to. U belittle yourself. The strongest people are the ones who walk away and not let emotions dictate your behaviour. The only time u should fight is if it gets physical and u need to defend yourself

Not gonna lie...this is horrible advice and this is a complete misrepresentation of Islam. If you are in a scenario where you are being antagonized or insulted with your wife and kids, the best thing to do is to walk away unless its absolutely necessary to do so (which is if the offenders are approaching your family and you feel they are at risk). Mohammad Hijab you need to wisen up a little bit, as you are essentially showcasing the behaviour of someone who is insecure or ego tripping to constantly appear as a "strong man" even if it puts your family at risk. This is a selfish mindset, and no wise person would agree with you here. As someone who is a little older than you, you need to preach making intelligent decisions, not irrational ones...

First thing you should do is make sure your family gets away from that person safely, then you confront them if you want to.

The physical safety of your family comes first. A fight might absolutely endanger them. Get them safe first and then you can start thinking about if you ending up in prison or unable to provide for your family after an altercation is worth your family not being able to eat
