Kiteboarding In Cumbuco During Brazilian Holidays

On the way back we stopped at Cumbuco for 2 days. Just had to explore the legendary spot everyone talks about. It was not easy to find lagoon Couipe but we managed to do it following our friends directions. The most exciting part of this little trip was the narrow bridge, which we had to drive through. It was quite the experience. I was glad we rented a small car, as anything bigger would be problematic to say the least. Lagoon was awesome, great flat water, at the time we were there most people were busy some kind of Brazilian Holiday, not so much with kiting, so even though the shore was super crowded and full of tourists enjoying the surroundings there were really not many people on the water. On the first day I had stellar 14m weather on the second it kept on changing as it was quite cloudy. It was quite gusty but of course you cant complain and compare this to cold gusty wind in Canada. It was still perfect. Anyway liking the spot a lot and hoping to try it again some time :D. Maybe next time we can see Toby Breuer working his unique airstyle tricks - sadly this time he didn't kite when were there. Kitehomies will be back
