Kitesurf in Cumbuco - Brazil

CUMBUCO:
One of the most known places for kiteboard in the world. The whole city revolves around the kiteboarding scene. With all the kind of options of hotels, you can kite right in front from where you are staying. The city also have one of the best gastronomy of the whole state of Ceará.

LAGOA DO CAUÍPE:
The best place on earth to improve your kiteboard freestyle level. This place is where all the best professional kiters go to train.
With flat and fresh water this lagoon is perfect if you wanna learn a new trick, everything seems easier there.
It can get very crowded, so the best time to kite without many people around is in the morning or during sunset, which is my favorite time to kite.

DOWNWINDER CUMBUCO - LAGOA DO CAUÍPE:
This downwinder is very famous. Since the most of the people stay in Cumbuco and Lagoa do Cauípe is just few miles downwind of it, you can go easily kiting from Cumbuco to Cauípe.
A lot of the people also enjoy this downwinder to have some fun on the waves kitesurfing.

Um dos locais mais conhecidos para o kitesurf do mundo. A cidade inteira gira em torno da cena do kitesurf. Com todos os tipos de opções de hotéis, você pode velejar bem na frente de onde está hospedado. A cidade também possui uma das melhores gastronomias de todo o estado do Ceará.

LAGOA DO CAUÍPE:
O melhor lugar do mundo para evoluir o seu nível de freestyle. Este lugar é onde todos os melhores kitesurfistas profissionais vão treinar.
Com água lisa e doce essa lagoa é perfeita se você quer aprender uma manobra nova, tudo parece mais fácil nesse lugar.
A lagoa pode ficar muito cheio, então a melhor hora para velejar sem gente é pela manhã ou durante o pôr do sol, que é minha hora favorita para o kite.

DOWNWIND CUMBUCO - LAGOA DO CAUÍPE:
Este downwind é muito famoso. Como a maioria das pessoas ficam em Cumbuco e a Lagoa do Cauípe fica a apenas alguns quilômetros a downwind, você pode ir de Cumbuco para o Cauípe com facilidade.
Muitas pessoas também aproveitam este downwind para se divertir nas ondas de kitewave.

Cumbuco is about 27 km from Fortaleza and is paradisiacally beautiful. You can get there directly from Fortaleza Airport with a shuttle. Hi Reno! I am planning to go to Cumbuco this September/October 2022. Is it possible to foil/learn to foil in these two months? I plan to bring my 2021 Dice 9 m. I know it will be good for twintip but i am not quite sure if it will be for foiling. Thanks.
