That’s one hell of a test there sir!!! I’ve shot out to a 1000 with my vortex, but am fairly certain I’ll try an arken next! I’ve outshot folks with night force with a dang Nikon p223 mounted on a 6.5 before so I’m all about value and using solid fundamentals!!

Optometry student here, great way to show clarity, those black lines are actually used in some visual acuity testing and in research for visual definition. Good stuff! Now i just need money for the scope and student loans...

It's unbelievable the mental gymnastics people will go through to justify the NF pricetag. NF has not been known for glass clarity in a long time, they have fallen way behind the other top big players. NF is mostly known for durability at this point, not tracking or clarity. Would be interesting to add a few others to this lineup, zeiss, vortex razor hd, swarovski, schmidt bender, steiner, leica or kahles. The actual big names for clarity.

I've been running the gen 1 EP5 for a couple of years now on my 308 PRS rig. At the time of purchase, I was just getting into PRS and was working with the equipment I had and couldn't afford a Razor, ATACR, or any other glass typically seen on high-end rigs. With over a dozen matches under my belt now and a lot more experience, I don't feel like this scope has held me back in any way. The turrets track perfectly and are very tactile. The glass is great for it's price and I've had no issues spotting targets and impacts over 1k yds. For 99% of shooters, I really don't think there's anything to gain from spending 2k+ more on glass from the "big name" guys.

At first i thought the man had somehow mangled a full sized stuffed leather couch arm chair into the middle of nowhere and thrown a stylish soft throw blanket on it so even if he may feel annoyed some people remain who dont accept his results, at least he gets an excuse to fire more rounds and damn it, hes gonnna be comfortable!😊

I wonder if that attacr 5-25 wouldve been clearer than the 7-35, in my experience to much zoom is a bad thing. I have the nx8 4-32-50 and its pretty much useless past 24 power. Even in broad daylight it looks darker once you go past 24 power range. Just a thought. I wish i had just got yhe 4-18-50.

Hard to argue glass one way or the other but the NF is built better. For the $ though, in a non life or death situation, Arken is juuuust fine.

I respect the sheer amount of the ‘tism on display here. Also, dayuuum that Arken is punching way above its weight. Nice test man. Really cements my decision to grab another Arken this holiday.

Damn. I've heard the Arkens were good, but I never would have thought it would look that much better than the NF. Looks like there's no chromatic aberation at all on the Arken. Wish they weren't so damn hard to get in Canada. There's a couple shops that carry them but they sell out instantly.
