I think the staff mistake at 1:08 is actually caused by flipping the negative, and printing the shot backwards.

Yes, we agree……but the movie is moving so fast (action after action) that we don’t have the time to notice those bloopers. For me the kid catching that golden calf is a good observation.

About the Golden Calf; the idols were gold plated; slaves didn't have enough gold to molt into golden calves. So the calf the boy caught might not have weighed that much.

I wonder when the film editor is going through the footage they spots the errors & then it's probably a question of "Who's going to notice it"?.I've seen this film on the Big cinema screen and numberous times on TV and never noticed the bloopers. So me thinks that with ALL hollywood FILM productions there are them bloopers that no one really notices! You kinda get wrapped up in the story etc..
