Harry should have green eyes like his mother. The movies just didn’t bother to do that. I get it for Daniel Radcliffe bc he couldn’t wear the colored contacts, but they could have probably used contacts for the scenes on his mother to make her eyes blue like dan’s so they could have the same color even if it was a different color to the books

In Harry Potter they never meant the color of their eyes where the same, but the shape of them was supposed to resembles lilys while the rest of him looked like his dad

In the books, they both have green eyes, and Snape was in love with Harry’s mom, Lily. Him calling out the eye colors shows how he liked her (at least, that’s what I think it shows).

Holy god, everybody knows that the Harry Potter movies were based on the books. In the books, Lily Potter has green eyes and so does Harry, as it’s referred to several times in the series. The reason they couldn’t do this in the movie was because Daniel Radcliffe (The actor that played Harry Potter) was allergic to the green contacts. Adult Lily Potter had green eyes however. I believe they couldn’t edit child Lily Potter or Harry because they didn’t have that technology at the time.
