1996 public service announcement featuring North Carolina Attorney General (later Governor) Mike Easley giving out tips to avoid being the victim of a scam (somewhat ironic given Easley later entered an Alford plea {where the defendant - while not admitting guilt - concedes that there is enough evidence for a conviction} on campaign finance law violations {making Easley the first Governor or former Governor of North Carolina to be convicted of a felony}, resulting in Easley paying a $1000 "community penalty" and briefly losing his law license before it was restored upon appeal)
