as Russian i worked for Swiss company for over 4 years, i have to say the corporate culture was the only truely multicultural open-minded, unlike other examples from EU / US i experienced. What i missed in Switzerland itself was ''fun'' they are very calm people with great nature and pleasant views. I happened to met the best people there who impacted me in a positive way and for that I wish Swiss people prosperety and all the best.

As a Canadian who grew up in beautiful British Columbia and who has now lived in Switzerland for the past 15 years and have my Swiss passport, I can say life here is better in many ways: expendable income, safety and security, health care, pension plans, proximity to other countries, and the overall optimism of the people. I live in Geneva and have a chalet in Gryon, which is a ski resort directly above Bex, so I know the Swiss Romande region that you drove through very well. This video is honest and accurate. I value our democracy and when my invitation to vote on a referendum comes in the mail every 3 months or so, I consider it a privilege; this is true democracy in action. Great video!

As a swiss citizen, I must say that this is quite an accurate view on Switzerland. We have our problems, but compared to other countries we are still in a good place. And I do hope that we can stay like that a bit longer, regardless the challenges. Unfortunately, more and more swiss people are not aware that it is a place worth to protect.

Peter, as a long-time viewer of your channel and a Swiss resident myself, I really enjoyed this episode. Marc did an excellent job showing you around. However, there's one major topic where I have reservations: immigration. In Switzerland, the scale of immigration and the population growth is a significant issue. Our infrastructure was originally designed for a population of about 6 million. Questions arise like: When will it be enough? How many more people can our limited space accommodate? And crucially, how do we preserve our traditions with so many newcomers? These are real concerns for many of us here. Thanks for visiting Switzerland. 😊

My grandfather came from Switzerland, with his mother, in 1903, at the age of nine. He was from Fribourg. I have always wanted to visit his home town. I am 72 now, so perhaps this year is the time !

Yes, as a Swiss living in the Upper Valais region, I can confirm that we learned a lot of important things that we can explain and teach to others, including the US. But the US has the one thing you win us all over each and every time: To keep a smile on your faces when times get rough, your enthusiasm and ability to re-invent yourselves to escape hardship - all that positivity that leads eventually to a new phase of global prosperity never experienced before!
