I have surgery on oct 27th, and to be honest am scared to death, I suffer from super high anxiety, surgery doesn't scare me, being put under doesn't scare me, it's the OR that scares the crap out of me, I'm calm till I get to the OR then a full blown panic attack hits me, here in the USA we do not have a separate area where we are put under, they don't do that until we get into the OR...gotta be honest, it's been a surgery I've been waiting for for over 5 years, arthritis in the AC joint of the left shoulder...BUT the inner chicken wants to cancel the surgery (I'm not going to tho)...anxiety is already causing heartburn, on medication for that, anxiety is so bad in hospital I trigger my own charlie horses which are a level 8 on the pain scale...
