Should you use Firebase? In this video I’ll talk about why I chose Firebase and the questions you will need to ask yourself before you dive in. I have five reasons why I think Firebase is good as well as three important considerations, one of which might make Firebase quite BAD for you!

In case you are wondering, Google has not sponsored this video. I made this review simply because I've become a fan and I wanted to share what I've learned and love.

One of the most distinct aspects of Firebase is Cloud Firestore. Cloud Firestore definitely weighs in as a consideration for whether or not you should adopt Firebase. For more help understanding it and how it works, I recommend the videos below.

Hey thanks for the video, I have a question. I am building a restaurant app, and I'm stuck if I should use Laravel or firebase for the backend. The ease of use while using firebase makes it more inclined towards it. For a restaurant app do you think I should use firebase? And the second question is while I have to constantly change or update the menu or the deals page (which is a page in my app which shows the popular deals at the moment) will I have to push a update every time after it is in production or in the playstore? Or I can change the database from the admin side?

Nice video, I usually use Nest/Express js as my Angular backends but Firebase makes things much easier

Great talking points. Firebase is really my first NoSQL platform.. after 3 months of using this, I have learned that it's really great for prototyping things as well as leverage its authentication system.. But when you move to production, it's better to rewrite the app to connect to a relational database.
