Michkov to San Jose, in the next two drafts they will grab a immensly talented Center and have a
Eklund - Misa - Michkov line and be amazing

There is a reason why many have Leo Carlsson going 3rd. The guy was one of the best players in the SHL playoffs. I can see your points about Jackets wanting a center and Sharks playing the long game on Michkov though, so a drop to 5th is not impossible. Damn this is a good draft! Carlsson could have been a no 1 in some classes.

I feel like if not for his contract, Michkov would be competing with Bedard for 1st, not Fantilli for 2nd. That’s how good a player he is.

Leo Carlsson is signed with Orebro HK in the 2023-24 season, and as a Habs fan, I would love a player like him.

Leo Carlsson wit Slafkovsky and Anderson would be a crazy heavy line for Montréal, hard to play against...I like the idea although Will Smith might also be the pick to fill that line !

You know full well Smith wont go before Michkov and Carlsson, it’s like you’re trolling. Carlsson is not a forward, he’s a center and he outshined Fantilli in the world cup.

Grier’s son went to the same school as Will Smith and I heard they were friends. Will Smith is the Sharks top choice

Reasonable list, especially the Will Smith pick. Only one I think could differ is Benson, who if Arizona passes on, would probably fall to 9, 10, 11 range

I can only hope that fantilli is good enough. As ducks fan i still feel sad that there a chance that my team has missed out on 2 generational talents. 2005 with crosby and now with bedard.

As a Habs fan I feel really good about 5. Were essentially guaranteed one of Smith, Carlsson or Michkov, assuming they don’t mess up and take a shot at someone else. I’m hoping for michkov but I like all three.
