What did you think of the first round? I was pretty surprised at some of the big swings. I didn’t see Philly taking Michkov, or the Red Wings taking Danielson or ASP. I did get Willander to Vancouver right. After Anaheim went with Carlsson, you knew there would be some surprises. 🎉🎉🎉

If the Sharks get Michkov at 4 I think it could be the steal of the draft? Coming over at 21 years old in 3 seasons as some of their bad contracts start to drop off would make a huge impact!

Nice video! I can’t see Vancouver passing on axel, and I think Moore will go higher than 14 pushing into top 10 range. I agree with what you said for the habs, take whichever of the 3 falls to them. Thanks for the mock 👍

It gets interesting at 6-15. Sabres really can't go wrong with whoever is left from that group at 13.

I think Habs scouting is hoping for Smith actually since Kent Hughes coached him when he was younger. Plus, if it is Michkov they may pass over him due to the risk.

One of the more sane mocks I have seen in a few days. As a Detroit fan SY needs forwards but has to be balanced with skaters who play a puck possession game, grind along the boards (along with be a 200ft back checker).
Perreault may be of interest to SY too.

Wings taking benson is the right and smart choice. Kid is such a gamer and is very versatile being able to play all 3 forward positions

Really good video! I think the Red Wings maybe in on Oliver Moore at 9 but Benson would be a solid pick!

You can bet your farm that the Blues will not be taking Perreault at #10. That makes no sense at all. Not only is a winger the last thing they need, Perreault would be a major reach - especially with Moore, Danielson and Willander still on the board.

The more I think about it. Bedard for Cooley, Arizonas 2 first round picks and 24s 1st round pick. Would have to be taken seriously. You would get Mitchov, Bsnson or Smith at 6th.

Interesting picks. Willander is an intriguing prospect but he might be a reach at #11, as most have him ranked in the late 1st/early 2nd. I would be more likely to pick Colby Barlow or one of the centers.

Willander is a really interesting choice for Canucks at 11th. If I'm being honest, I think best pick available would be Wood, Moore or Barlow. But I'd be cool taking Willander.
