Like you guys said, it’s a civic in a tux. I have the 2022 civic touring, love it! If this integra was available when I bought my civic I def would of considered buying it. Can’t wait to see it in person. Cheers Kirk

I had an 2.4L 06 TSX Aspec that was luxury/sporty version of the European Honda Accord that had a 2.0L engine. Never felt like my TSX was just a dressed up Accord. The looks of the Integra and interior upgrades would make me pick this over a Civic Si.

Freaking breath of fresh air here! You can get it in a proper 6-speed manual transmission! The undoubtedly most favorite car I've ever owned was a 2000 Integra GS-R in green with a taupe interior. I drove that between Cleveland OH and Phoenix AZ, and between Cleveland and NYC countless times in rain and snow and it never missed a beat, and it was comfortable! I'm the one that missed a beat, I was an idiot and I put the car into a tree in upstate NY going downhill on a washed out mountain dirt road literally right after a big thunderstorm (thanks TomTom) at 175k miles and ended up totaling it. That car was a freaking champ. 175k miles and it still had the factory clutch. Nothing broke on that car. I don't know about the new Integra, but with the older Integras you really didn't need AWD. You get proper winter tires on there and the thing was a beast in the snow, about as good as my WRX.

We had the Integra with the lights that flipped up after switching them on 5 door in the late 1980's

I have an Elantra N on order so I'll be driving that at least for the next few years. If by then there is an Integra Type S with AWD (and a manual) I would seriously consider it. This looks great but the 1.5 seems a bit wimpy to me for how big of a presence this has. It just feels like a big solid car and needs a big solid engine to go with it.

I have an ILX with the 6 speed manual and I might have to trade mine in for this!

Hoping the Type S will have the Type R power train.

I hope and wish Acura/Honda release the Legend, especially the Coupe model of the Legend! I loved the ‘87 Acura Legend Coupe my parents had/owned.

Corolla GR with Toyotas rally racing turbo drivetrain is the only Japanese car I’m looking forward too.

So, the approximately $2K to upgrade from the Civic Si to the Integra base means having a CVT since the 6-speed transmission is only available in the A-Spec configuration. This makes me think that the 6-speed Integra price will be approaching the price of a Civic Type R. I know which one I would choose.

I hope there's a Type S with AWD in the works. As far as I'm concerned, especially with the CVT, this is a swing and a miss. I guess we'll see if it's a sales success or not. i will say the price is at a point if I were considering the Si, I'd have to drive that and possibly consider it.

Would the Mazda 3 hatch be a competitor? The nonturbo 3 can be had FWD with a stick. The AWD with the turbo and auto

Well it looks much better than that atrocious monstrosity that they debuted in yellow earlier. That’s about all I can say about it tho.

To get the manual transmission you have to buy the top trim level. WTF Acura?

I really wish the a spec had ventilated seats. My reason for wanting this is bc manual transmissions can’t get remote start and I want to cool off as quickly as possible hence the ventilated seats being important to me especially when they are leather/leatherette. So much so I think it’s a dealbreaker for me. And I’m probably the minority here but I like the grey exterior but as a 42 year old man I don’t want the red interior.
