thanks for that video! my DC2 did fly like a garbage can and made my FPV Endeavor almost impossible, turned out it was on betaflight default PID wich are VERY different.
now things are so much different, and i can finally get on to learn to fly :P

Yeah... well... I wanted to say that you know shit about tuning PIDs... but I waited, as you instructed. I gotta say - you nailed it with disabling this D min :)
I used your advice on a small drone with brushed motors and now the flight is totally smooth, but still very responsive. I'm very pleased. Thank you very much mate!

Thanks for posting this. I've been having tiny issues that been bugging me and have been messing with the tune without full understanding of any difference I'm making. I've been wanting to better understand filters too, been watching the usual fpv tutorial channels but still don't fully understand it. Anyway, thanks again for these!

So not sure how much time I have for PID tuning videos so I'm gonna keep an eye on the number of likes this videos gets and when it hits 500 likes I'll start working on the next model. If you have suggestions for models to PID tune on 4.2, reply to this comment with your suggestions.

I don't like D min and usually leave it off altogether. I also don't like feedforward it can introduce bobbles but instead off turning it off completely now I reduce the slider as much as I can and set feedforward transition to 0.99

This is a great demonstration how to tune your little bird to the best step by step. I got exactly the same Titan DC 2 like yours and really love flying with it! Now it is the time to flash the controller. Btw how to tune it in betaflight through the mobile phone just like what you did in this video instead of through the PC, anything else do I need? Thank you for this!

Dshot idle. I never tuned dshot idle - why have I never ever tuned dshot idle!? THANKS for that info! Got rid of that slow falling prop wash that always annoyed me.. Now I probably need to add dynamic idle but that's worth it..

So if you got a steady vibration on acceleration and all hardware good, , and smooth everywhere else, , what would you change first ?? Which slider, ,, I don’t know why they can’t have the magic of 3.5.7 in the new ones so the dji can work !!

i have a 3" micro running sunnysky 1104 6500kv and cant seem to get it fly properly, it would shudder when throttling with stick movement, currently on betaflight 4.0. I want to try to upgrade the firmware to 4.2, but would i need to change any filtering setting in 4.2?

I believe the reason your quad flew better when you turned off dmin is because the dterm needed to be higher because your P to D ratio was off. When you have dmin on, you’re mainly flying at those lower values(your first flight the average dterm per axis was like 25-30). In this case, when you turned dmin off you’re mainly flying with a dterm averaging in the 50s.

I would try p on roll/pitch 55/50 and dterm around 40-45

Hey Albert just wondering, I've got the same exact pid tuning like yours but i find mine to be slow and responsive especially when cruising and lifting off. It takes like 60% throttle just to liftoff the ground and keep on cruising, when i do flips and rolls, i can't pull up as fast, how can i change this to make my throttle more responsive what sort of configuration or settings do i need to play with?

Thank you for share it but it seems still a little wobbles. I have done tuning with geprc cinequeen(but my custom) for a long time, the result is that the P value of pitch and roll is 85 without any wobbles. Try P values up more(also need to adjust I and D values).
