FREE PATTERN ~ Step By Step instructions on how to sew this easy, beginner friendly SHOULDER BAG

To make this bag you will need:
(2) - 16'' square panels for the exterior of the bag
(2) - 16'' square panels for the lining of the bag
(2) - 16'' square panels of medium weight fusible interfacing (my favorite is Pellon SF101)
(1) - 28'' long webbing for the handle
(1) - KAM snap or heavy duty snap

I'm using my Juki TL2000 Qi sewing machine in this tutorial.

This was such a clear, perfectly brief with all needed info. You're teaching is great. Thank you. I just made the bag and it came out great. I did put two straps so that when I'm looking for something in my bag I can keep the other strap on my shoulder and not have to put the bag down. I'm using a heavy magnetic snap. So I'm either going to put a diamond-shaped matching piece of material over the hardware that shows on the outside of the bag. Also, I'm thinking I could have put the snap on the lining so that the outside wouldn't show. But it's heavy duty so I'm going to do it the first way. When that's done the bag is complete although it is usable now. Thank you so much. I did subscribe. And I gave you a thumbs up.

I’m brand new to sewing. Broke my leg then covid hit all during my year long recuperation.I ordered a machine online and with no knowledge or lessons have been trying to use YouTube to “self” teach on easier/beginner projects. Love watching your videos, and as soon as I feel confident cutting the fabric I plan to attempt several bag/tote videos of yours. I love the fabrics and linings you choose.
