If anyone is having trouble getting into the waterfall near Zavalas house after completing the alone in the dark quest line it’s bc you need to invert the cyst. Take the same path he did except stop when you get to the part where there is a slight ledge and you have to jump off your sparrow. Look right and you should see a bird. Hold x on it and it will invert the cyst and you will be able to get in.

So now i have a common, legendary, and exotic khvostov, 16 motes of light and 1 primordial light. Did i do it right lmao 😂

My problem is new bosses aren’t spawning. I get to level four of overthrow and the same boss spawns that I killed the previous time 😢

If you guys check your triumphs, got to the new season, there’s a few tabs that mark the names bosses and how many times you’ve killed them. You can track that and see who you’re missing.

I'm kinda screwed for the motes of light. I have 9 motes of light and killed all overthrow bosses, so you'd think I'm all good, right? _However_ one of my motes of light was from the traveler bal in the impasse, so I have no idea which boss I'm missing the mote from. And before you say it, yes, I already got the mote from the meatball. I was aware of the glitch regarding it, and got the mote after bungie said it was patched, so I was hyper aware of the fact that I got it. Motes are supposed to be guaranteed, right? If so, then maybe I'm wrong and didn't kill all of them, but my triumphs say I've killed all of them (it's the one that says kill all bosses in overthrow & it's marked 3/3 in each region.)

This quest is so buggy after doing the alone in the dark quest over and over for 3 wks and the motes stopped dropping I'm done . I don't need the gun that bad . Bungie will just turn around and nerf it anyway. I still have fun with the weapons that I have and that's all that matters to me. Thanks for the guide but the mission is just to buggy for me .

Zavala Seclusion Vision 5: Cyst bird on the outside needs to be Activated "Searing Light" to do this you must invert the Cyst Bird by interacting with it. This essentially opens the waterfall because the Searing Light Cyst requires it. You will know it's working if the bird guides you through to the waterfall after going through the Zavala home portal.

Did somebody forgot to put in the seasonal challenges or triumphs, a log of which encrypted bits you have? Because I went through the alone in the dark missions and all the cysts and didn't pick up all the encrypted bits at that time and now I'm trying to go back, but I'm lost. I've gone through the missions again I'm pretty sure three times each and I'm only at 13 encrypted bits. I just can't do this again. I'm burned out. Do any of you have another solution?

I have 14 motes total, did the 8 travelers already. So 6 motes farmed from activities..any way to know which ones ive already doneor do I just farm all 3 zones to tier 4 again?

i have 16 motes of light but it says on my pale heart triumphs that i’ve defeated all 9 bosses, but i also have not finished the encryption bits. Where do i get the last mote of light ?

u showed all the steps to get everything for the khvostov but not where to get it in the tower..

Horrible route on #4. Looking at the mote, go to the right wall and scale from there. Much easier.
