Searching a Coin Collection of Wheat Pennies

preview_player
Показать описание
In this video, I will search through a bunch of wheat pennies that I was able to purchase for pretty cheap because it was part of a bigger coin collection with more valuable coins.
My Silver Dealer knows the things I like and said that a customer came in and just sold all of their coin collection to him. Since I usually purchase all the old silver and he knows I like copper too, he let me get it all! I will be looking for key dates, semi key dates, upgrades, and of course and varieties within the years I hunt.
Hopefully you all enjoy this video! I know it's a bit long, but we had a lot to go through!

As always - Happy Hunting and Thanks for Watching AND keep Stacking that silver my friends!!!

That 1955 is awesome! It looks like they stamped 2 pennies on top of each other. Can’t wait to hear more about it.😎👍

That 55d stutter strike (?) is a beauty! I’d be smiling for days if I found that!

I'm not an expert but I believe that the 1955 was originally pressed into a "Keep me and never go broke" good luck piece. I've found a few of the pinched edge coins over the years. The encasement was made of aluminum and could be removed from the penny without bending it if they wanted to get the penny out. Just my thoughts.

Hey, Rob! I bought a 1931 S for $100 for my book, and I now am only four cents (1909 S VDB, 1909 S, 1914 D, 1922 Plain) away from completing my Lincoln Cent collection!

That was a fun hunt.I see you have the same problem as I do with the cardboard coin holders tearing a hole in them, it is frustrating when you do it.I am picking up 4 penny boxes tomorrow for my first ever coin hunt.I am so excited for it.Thanks for your hunts and inspiration Rob.🎉❤😊

Dang that was a sweet hunt! Three 1922-D's, the 1933-D, a 1926-S - a ton of pre-1940's with mint marks - and that mint error - amazing! I haven't been able to score finds like this from any of my wheatie collection purchases. Another great video!

Lots of nice finds. I've been trying to find all of the wheat cents from 09- 1940. I have all 3 steel cents and a 09 no vdb. So yes the hunt wish me luck!!!!

I learn a lot from watching you. I have hundreds of wheat cents and I don't know where to start in sorting them.

Wheaties are fun and that 55 is really cool! I got my mom to start doing a wheatie album to give her some stuff to do with her change and she's loving it!

I like me some pennies! I went through Variety Vista, 1909 to 1958. +360 DDO, +360 DDR and +600 rpm. Yikes! I'll never get thru my hoard!
