Double USB Splitter Cable Adapter 1 Male to 2 Female Port Extension Hub

This double USB splitter cable can be used to connect two consumers with only one USB port on your laptop or PC. This saves port space, which can be bery useful, especially with laptops, which have very few ports on them.

I am using the USB adapter to connect my custom made cooling stand with the docking station of my laptop. Since I made the cooling stand out of two laptop cooler pads, there are two separate USB cables, which power the two cooling fans. Instead of connecting each fan separately, and by this occupying two USB ports, I am using this Y shaped USB splitter cable to save space.

This particular adapter cable is 1 male to 2 female. There are, of course, other variants, such as, one female to two male connectors, male to male, etc. There are also USB hubs with multiple USB ports on them, in case you need to connect more then two devices.

Does the inverse exist? I'm streaming on twitch, I use my "cool" microphone for the stream, while I use the ps4 single earphone plus microphone to speak in-game with my mates. I was wondering if I can get rid of the earphone by using a usb splitter so 1 female (where my cool microphone is going to get plugged) and 2 male (one will be plugged in the streaming pc for the live and one in the ps4 for the in-game chat).
