Fort Lauderdale corrections officer facing murder charges

After a fatal shooting, a witness saw Chase Harder carrying a child over his shoulder while running to a white Mercedes-Benz sports utility vehicle to flee on Tuesday night in Broward County, police said.

Corrections officers are not cops, but he was former military police, and a lot of them have anger issues. Not all veterans are heroes, and a shocking number of them are spouse/partner abusers!

A boyfriend X’ing his gf and then handing off a baby he has no blood relationship with to the birth father unharmed seems indicative of a unique relationship dynamic. This all could just be a jealous, abusive man or perhaps there is more to this story

Thank god no one else was hurt but it’s just strange that the rage ended so suddenly to the point where he got the baby to where it needed to be unharmed and then turned himself in
