Heating about 500ml (2 cups) of water with an Esbit stove and MSR Titan Titanium kettle.

Total clock time was 12 minutes and the final temperature was 165F. I think a little wind screen and perhaps cutting the fuel block in half to reduce wasted flame would be something to try.
