Πράσινο φως δόθηκε, στην υποψηφιότητα του γιού του Καντάφι, Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi, στις επερχόμενες προεδρικές εκλογές που θα διεξαχθούν τον Δεκέμβριο.
Αναλυτικότερα, όπως αναφέρει η ιστοσελίδα libyareview, ο πρόεδρος της αρμόδιας επιτροπής, δηλαδή της Εθνικής Εκλογικής της Λιβύης, Emad Al-Din Al-Sayeh, επιβεβαίωσε ότι σύμφωνα με τον καινούργιο νόμο, ο γιος του Καντάφι αλλά και ο σημερινός προσωρινός πρωθυπουργός Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, έχουν το δικαίωμα να συμμετάσχουν ως υποψήφιοι για την προεδρία.
Μάλιστα, ο Al-Sayeh, διευκρίνισε ότι ο συγκεκριμένος νόμος δεν εμποδίζει κανένα άτομο, ώστε να θέσει υποψηφιότητα και πρόσθεσε ότι η επιτροπή αναμένει τις τροπολογίες, για κάποιες τεχνικές παρατηρήσεις που είχε υποβάλει και πως αρμόδια επιτροπή εξετάζει αυτή τη στιγμή τη σύνταξη του νόμου.
Επίσης, εξέφρασε την άποψη ότι οι προεδρικές και οι βουλευτικές εκλογές, πρέπει να πραγματοποιηθούν μαζί, για τεχνικούς κυρίως λόγους.
Έτσι, όλοι στη Λιβύη, αναμένουν πια από τον Καντάφι, την επίσημη δήλωση της υποψηφιότητας του, η οποία και όπως είδαμε χθες, σύμφωνα με δημοσκόπηση τυχαίνει ευρείας αποδοχής από τον Λιβυκό λαό.

Gaddafi's son Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi has been given the green light in the upcoming presidential elections in December.
More specifically, according to the website libyareview, the chairman of the competent committee, namely the Libyan High National Electoral Commission, Emad Al-Din Al-Sayeh, confirmed that according to the new law, Gaddafi's son and current caretaker Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh , have the right to run as candidates for the presidency.
