Σε νέες απελευθερώσεις στελεχών, συνεργαζόμενων και φίλων του Καντάφι, μετά την αποφυλάκιση ενός εκ των γιων του, προχώρησε ο πρωθυπουργός της Λιβύης, Ντμπεϊμπά, δικαιολογώντας τις, ότι αυτό θα βοηθήσει να επανέλθει η συμφιλίωση στη Λιβύη, σβήνοντας τις έχθρες και τα πάθη, των προηγούμενων ετών.
Έτσι αυτή τη φορά, σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της ιστοσελίδας The Libya Observer, απελευθερώθηκε, η προσωπική γραμματέας του Μουαμάρ Καντάφι, η οποία και βρισκόταν στην φυλακή καθώς και άλλοι πολιτικοί κρατούμενοι.
Αυτό αποφάσισε το Λιβυκό προεδρικό συμβούλιο, και στο άρθρο επισημαίνεται ότι ή είχαν εκτίσει πια την ποινή τους ή δεν είχαν κατηγορηθεί.
Αυτή η ενέργεια αναφέρει, όπως προ-είπαμε, ότι εντάσσεται στις συνεχιζόμενες προσπάθειες εθνικής συμφιλίωσης.
Προχθές ανακοινώθηκε και η αποφυλάκιση του Naji Harir, πρώην διοικητή της ειδικής φρουράς του Καντάφι.
