i sleep on my side with my lower arm extended at a 90° angle. my cat sleeps under the covers curled up in the crook of my arm next to my chest. He loves to have His tummy rubbed! He purrs loudly and makes biscuits in the blankets when i do so. When i roll over and switch sides, He gets up and moves with me. He was born July 11, 2019 behind my bed. We have slept together part or all of every single night, save one, since He was 4 or 5 weeks old! Being loved like this is truly wonderful !:-) 😻

During the day, he sleeps in his bed on the couch. At night he sleeps to the right of my pillow always touching me even if it's just his paw.

My 2 year old black female cat keeps waking me up at night to get under the covers, then she tried to make biscuits on my stomach, it's cute but well annoying in a funny way.

I try to fall asleep with my arm up holding the covers, so she gets air.

I love her ❤

My cat Tiger-J likes to sleep on the bed, and as a loaf. He also goes under my sewing table.

Dollar Tree plastic containers are their favorite😊. Even though they have about $300 in cat beds. I put it next to my pillow with a warming pad and I never short of a customer😊

We have only had our cat for like 3 weeks, but he has been sleeping with us in our bed since the first day! I will definitely take that as a compliment

Our little Ava sleeps between us at night when we are both in bed and we have found that she usually sleeps on her back or in a position we call "some assembly required" which just means somewhere between back and side she looks halfway assembled. If it's in the middle of the day, she sleeps on the same blanket we used for her during her recovery after spaying surgery, usually in a croissant-like shape. Weirdly enough, if I or my gal are alone in bed, that's when she will sleep on my arm with her head in my palm or she sleeps near my gal's shoulder.

My cat Shadow perches on top of my bookcase, on kitchen counter, on my bed next to me and on the sectional next to me or on my lap.

Who else is watching this, while their cat is sleeping next to them ? 😹

I got my new kitten Jessy, I had for 5 months now, sleeping with her head on my arm & hugging it with her paw ☺️ She's purring & very chatty today & clingy as always. 2 nights ago, she also came on her own, leaned against my chest & slept all night with me like this 😸 I couldn't even turn on the other side XD She loves hiding under blankets, between/on my legs, right in the middle of the bed 😹 She's even covering her eyes with her paws aaaaww ☺️ I've rarely met such social, clingy cats (only a neighbor cat can top her) She's more like a puppy XD When I just got her, she also slept like a 🥐 🌙 with her belly & paws out XD She's such a funny little girl & instantly trusts us XD I feel bad now about moving out from my parents, because of her

Before Jessy, I had another cat (who passed away 1 year ago, at almost 17) Dasha was Jessy's opposite, more serious & independent, yet funny & loyal. A true diva & a queen. She had her own mind & a new favorite sleeping spot every other month 😹 She had like 5 favorite places everywhere XD But she always visited us at night & slept in my bed. At least for some minutes. Dasha always loved to sit on the right corner, next to my feet. Or next to my face/pillow. It's always only been the right side 🤔 I've always been happy to have her by my side. I always gave her nicknames (also cuz she was very fluffy & the words "friend" & "pillow" sound almost the same in russian) There's nothing better than having a warm, fluffy friend next to you, purring in your ear, when you fall asleep or wake up 🥰 I miss Dasha...but at least I got Jessy now

In her last years, Dasha also loved sleeping on dad's side of the bed all day, but never on mom's (& she always liked/cleaned him alot) I always wondered why 🤔 Maybe she liked his smell ? Or thought, he's also a giant, hairy cat ? XD And another question. I've also seen Jessy being a sleepy loaf this week. She fell asleep & had her nose/face against the floor, couch etc. Why ? Did she just fall asleep while sitting ? 😹

Sorry for the long essay. I love talking about cats

At night my eldest likes to sleep against me or half on top of me on the bed, while his younger brother usually sleeps next to me in a low cat tree basket that's on the same height as my mattress, often having one paw on the bed. In the early morning he usually lies in my arms in the morning for a while.

If I'm not in bed they either sleep next to me on the couch, or in the top basket of their own cat tree. But as soon as I get upstairs they'll follow me.

My oldest sleeps on his back 90% of the time, and sprawls out during sleep, but he usually starts on his side with his head on my legs or feet hoping I'll first give him scritches. But he just as often let's himself fall on his back on the mattress - looks hilarious and adorable at the same time.

The other cat sleeps on his side or in a ball when he's in a basket alone, but when he's close to me he often starts on his side and then pretty much always ends up on his back as well.

I love seeing this because I know it means they both feel safe and totally relaxed with me.

About 10 years ago I had a great tuxie, at bed time she would come running into the room and jump onto the bed. She would get under the covers and start pushing me over so she could have more space on the mattress

I sleep on my back. One parks himself on the right of my head, another against my right hip. One of my girls wants the left arm wrapped around her, especially while making biscuits. I’ll have up to six cats on the bed, with one on my chest. If I’m in my easy chair, I’ll have one on the lap, one on the right arm, one on the chair back above my head, and sometimes one on the left arm and one on my chest. I found a lot depends on how cold it is outside in winter or how cold they feel from the AC in the summer. Some sleep on their backs and want belly rubs until I fall asleep. Others like to sleep on their sides. The chest sleeper prefers being in a loaf.

I sleep on my side, and my cat crawls under the covers with me sprawls out lengthwise and props his hind feel up on my belly while tucking his head under my chin and wrapping his paws around my neck. You know that "purr-sigh" of contentment? I get that as well once he's comfortable and ready to take a long cat nap with me. It's wonderful!

After her evening meal my cat will sleep for a while on the topmost platform of her new cat tree. When she hears me get into bed and settle down for sleep she will join me and either lie on her side for a bit or in the loaf position, purring. I'm a side sleeper so when I turn over, that's apparently her cue to go away and sleep in her cat stroller in the other room for most of the night. lol Only once when my arm was outstretched did she do the making biscuits gesture on said limb when I was close to falling asleep. Sometimes I have those hypnic jerks as I'm drifting off and those will make her jump and find somewhere else to snooze. I know she trusts me though because I'm the only person able to get her into her pet carrier. If anyone else tries she runs and hides.

I have 3. One sleeps on my legs, one sleeps behind my knees, and the third sleeps on the edge of the bed like she’s guarding the family

Have 4 cats, They have their own assigned sleeping stations. My youngest girl sleeps on me when I am laying on the sofa in the living room. My oldest boy sleeps between my legs if I am on my back or will get under the covers and use my bicep as a pillow if I sleep on my side. My youngest boy sleeps next to me if I am on the basement sofa. He also sleeps at my feet sometimes in the bed, Depends if his brother allows it

We have two amazing rescue cats, Pepper & Smokey. They both love sleeping with me; however, Pepper’s a year older than Smokey. So, she had us to herself for entire year which probably explains why she’s territorial. She sleeps in between my legs and will not allow Smokey to sleep with us. Therefore, most of the time, he sleeps with my best friend and roommate.
