I'm loving the new helmet! It "pops" a lot more. I also loved that part where you casually jumped onto/balanced on the concrete divider in the middle of the path as well! (3:35) Definitely interested in hearing about what may be going on with the degrading smoothness of the suspension and whether that continues to show up as mileage increases.

Hi @Wrong Way / Adam - quick question for you, but some brief background first.

I'm in the queue for the first round of the Veteran Sherman S from eWheels. I've been riding for about six months and have three EUCs: inMotion V11, Begode Master, and Kingsong S22. I'm a 100% in love with EUC riding and am a huge fan of your channel (I also love how kind you are to others, as others have pointed out. You're an amazing role model!). I *mostly* ride on streets, but I do ride on gravel, dirt roads, grass, etc., from time to time. I'm "off road" maybe 10% of the time.

My question: would you recommend the street tire or the knobby for the Veteran Sherman S for me?

I'm asking because while I love the Begode Master, I wasn't a huge fan of its knobby tire because I found that when turning, it would seem to "pull me down" into the turns more than my other wheels. It was actually kind of scary because I'd lose balance much more than my other wheels. It seems some other riders were having similar issues. So to fix it, I bought one of the heated knobby tire shavers (like a soldering iron) and shaved down the knobs -- at an angle -- that were causing the pull. With that mod, the Master's knobby tire now seems to work correctly, without the pull. Phew!

However, I'd prefer to not have to mod the Sherman S's knobby tire, but I'm also concerned that the street tire might not be sufficient for my "off road" riding.

Any thoughts on this? Greatly appreciate the guidance!

You can buy a lube spray specifically for the tubes for the suspension. I use it on my mtb forks because they will do the same sticking.
Look up stanchion spray lube for bikes.

This behavior of suspension i well known from bikes . Bearing of shocks creates friction . Only FOX shocks with Kashima coating minimize this .

I wonder if the suspension began sticking due to the stairs/bumps/drops twisting the "frame" and knocking it out of alignment. Hopefully loosening and retightening it up can mitigate any binding!

I rode a Sherman S for a few minutes. I also hope they improve the spikes/pedals on the production version. I have honeycomb shoes and the spikes of the Clarks pedals just go deep into them, almost impossible to move my feet without raising them.

Makes me wish that shipping to New Zealand was faster, my Sherman S won't arrive until January. I'll keep riding my RS in the meantime, it's good to build up more experience to become more confident (and competent) before my new wheel arrives.
