Thanks Jon. Keep us updated. I'm on a V11 now and recently tried the OG Sherman and loved it. So much so that the Sherman S seemed the logical choice for me. It'll be interesting to see what improvements you can make to customize to your wheel. Cheers from NZ

Excellent video. I just received my Sherman S 2 days ago. We have a very similar progression. I too started with a Onewheel (XR), on to the V11, and now the SS. I’m in a tropical environment, Hawai’i. I had requested the street tire, but at the time of delivery they only had the knobby. So I also will receive the street tire as soon as it becomes available. I have enjoyed all your videos. It’s funny how we all thought 15 miles @ 15 miles per hour would be more than enough

Thanks for the thoughtful review - and wise rider for taking it easy in the beginning. I have the Max. And yes, with the knobby, it resists directional changes. But it is the least wobble-prone wheel I've ever had. I've also had the V11 and I could never warm up to it. Even with shock adjustment, it still felt like a pogo stick and the power, especially when compared to an RS or the Sherman Max, was really lacking. I see a lot of people riding V11's, so they must be well-liked, but I didn't care for it.

i dont have one but they seem supercool as Transportaion. it looks like some dirt bike boots would help the control as they lock your ankle for safety and guard all the way up the shin. although walking is a bit odd in them haha

Quality and unbiased review. Great work so far! About that knobby tire, I have the same on my SherMax and when it's new you can definitely notice sharp dips when turning at times, but over time I no longer notice this and it feels nimble to me. Then again, I haven't tried the street tire yet, so there likely is a big difference I would feel if I did that, but the knobby feels pretty dang nimble to me.

Well, your quest about the tyre is the very same as mine. I was used to the street tyre, ever since the beginning of my euc journey. Inmotion v5f, ninebot Z6 and then begode msx, all those on street tyre. Then I got the exn HS. Never got the real reason why on a HS version they put this cst damn knobby tyre. And on an exn, that is a street racer. I tried. I swear I tried to like it. No way. I got a Pirelli tyre for my wheel.
Now, it's the very same nightmare. Again! I ordered the ex30 while the first pics of it showed a street tyre. Suddenly guess what. They changed it again to the CST.... 😱
Will change it again. This time to Michelin, for sure. Waiting to get more info on the wider rim, to get more information insights for the next tyre to be chosen....

Most of it will come in time and getting a feel for the wheel. I have a V11 and OG Sherman and felt the same way when I first got my Sherman but now I whip it around. Not as nimble as the V11 but that's physics. I'm still debating between the V13 and Sherm S. I need to see more range tests first

My first wheel was the v11 also (love it), I just received my new master pro v2 yesterday, and wow, it’s a freaking monster! I first rode around the block a couple times, and was concerned I would hate it. I changed to hard mode and rode a couple miles, some seated as well, and now I’m excited to learn to get more comfortable with it. Part of the problem is, even though I ordered with a street tire, I received a chunky lugged, dirt bike tire, which is weird also ( they are sending me a street tire, once they come in). I was torn between master pro and sherm S, and i must say being a 225lb rider, the MP is a lot of wheel, even a big guy, so i get why many would go towards the sherm S. Only time will tell if i made the right call. But I still have my v11 that I love carving on, and doubt I can let go of, since it’s 2 completely different rides!

S22 to me is still the best Suspension euc. Just does everything really good (except long range) which is fine for me.Now the pro is coming out with KS made sliders and the suspension is truly imo just awesome.

Thanks for your impressions of the wheel. I like videos that have some bad things to say, as it helps me gauge how good the wheel could be. I like the thought and design of a leaper kim suspension euc. I feel there are a few things that are missing from this design, and could be an easy 10/10 if those things were fixed like the trolly handle sturdyness, rigigity, the seat, and the footplates. You pointed out the issues that would bother me as well, The tire issue might be just inexperience or a justifiable concern, because i had same issue with Master AND Hero knobby having that same effect you described. I did not like it and had a shinko placed on both. Hope to hear more about your journey about this wheel.

Adjusting to a heavy wheel takes lots of miles. Especially if one has only riden s smaller wheel like the V11. Don't expect the Sherman-S to have the same capabilities as a smaller wheel.

Eevee's ride the Abrams. So Sherman-S feels smaller. But the Abrams is a lot more stable with 22 inch knobby tire.

Yeah, better to not use flat soles on those weird pedals.

Felt they way with knobby tires. You gotta change them. And adjust you suspension slowest rebound and less 3 clicks from hardest compression.

Nice video you sherman is old batch with bad bearings think about that in bad conditions. Buy heidenau k66 is amazing i have one on my sherman classic and michelin city pro on my MSP HT heidenau is best for road and offroad choice. People think adaptive tiltback and this sherman not have normal speed tiltback have. About kernda 262 i ride 3000km on it and change to K66.
You lost some "suspsension" feel when you change tire to street bit i ride 120kg person on 24PSI you not need 30 is overinflated maybee 27Psi max for kenda knobby.

I have no idea why they mount so cheap tyres on that expensive Unicycle ....

I like your video. I'm not sure if we need a 6 part series lol. Shame about your crash, those the worse pedals of all time. For the price of these things, manufacture should all have e ride type pedals stock, better pads, we are paying a lot for these now. And functional suspension kingsong

I gotta say... it seems a majority of your issues are with A) moving from rather limited experience, meaning only having previously ridden such a slim and nimble design (V11) to a larger wheel and B) opting to give the knobby tire a go.

I would suspect that transitioning to ANY larger wheel with a knobby would have presented the same challenges.

Once you have more ride time and sort out getting a street tire... I think you're going to be a happy camper. Though, one legitimate and SS specific gripe IS the pedals - they really could have done a better job there. The "adjustability" is kinda a gimmick and a weak spot - just give me fixed, stable, grippy large pedals please. Some people might consider the pedals to be a minor gripe, as a lot of folks replace stock pedals... but for the price you are paying for these premium wheels... little things like having to replace the pedals matter.
